Forum Guidelines

Just some things to remember while posting on the forum, nothing too strict or hard to follow.

Copyrighted Material
Copyrighted material is not allowed to be shared on the forum. Anything released by a record label is copyrighted therefore illegal for you to share. You may share live recordings and post Youtube videos but you may not share music files via a file sharing site (Rapidshare, Megaupload etc) anywhere on the forum. Anyone seen breaking this rule will be warned and in some cases, even banned.

Forum Courtesy
Treat other members as you'd wish to be treated, whether they have 1 post or 1,000 posts. Staff and members alike should be treated equally and with respect.

Don't Spam
This goes without saying really. Make sure your threads are in the appropriate forum and make sure your post is fairly relevant to the previous posts in the thread, threads that veer off topic may be closed by a moderator. You can always start a new thread to talk about something different.

Abuse & Profanity
Swearing is considered tolerable as long as it's not aimed abusively at another member, some words will be filtered for obvious reasons. Racism will not be tolerated at all. Whilst this is not a childrens forum, it's not nice to read a post where 50% of the words are swear words.

Flaming
If you have a dispute with another member, do not make it a scene for everyone to see. We have a private messaging system for things like that. Try not to say anything which could spark an argument, but of course, there is always room for debate with everything and people will react differently to things, so try to take some posts with a pinch of salt.

These are just some basic guidelines for all members to follow. They are not set in stone, just try to remember them when posting.

As you can see, there are some obvious issues it does not cover, such as piracy and pornographic material, but those are just common sense. Use your brain and you should be fine.

Thank you. ;)
